About Our Founders

Founder and CEO Paul Schreiber started Latico Leathers fresh out of college in 1984. He began selling leather goods out of his trunk in NYC, and soon enough, specialty boutiques in Greenwich Village couldn't keep his merchandise in stock. Bands like the Grateful Dead eventually became fans of his genuine leather bags, and Latico grew into its identity as a leather goods company with a rock and roll twist.

Paul met his wife Lainie — an uptown girl with a New York fashion background — and the two launched a celebrated women’s line. The unique artisan linings, unexpected leather treatments, and extensive interior organization created during that time would come to define Latico’s signature style.

Today, our customers refer to us as their “one-stop shop” for quality leather goods. In fact, over 80% of our business comes from repeat customers. We can’t thank you enough for your ongoing support!

    Miller crossbody is a fantastic little bag! You knot the sides to the desired length, as pictured. When travelling, I like the bag more close and higher up on my side. This is my third purchase of this style crossbody as I can’t get enough of the fabulous colors.

    Perfect size and so cute!

    This little bag is just the right size for wallet, keys, glasses, lipstick, and phone, which slides snuggly into the side pocket. Zipper closure secured contents. I love the color, which is more mediterranean than denim. The strap knots up on both sides for easy length adjustment. I searched long and hard for this little bag, and I love it!

    Second one I've purchased

    This bag is small but mighty. It easily holds my phone, keys, glass case and a lipstick or two. If you don't want a big bag to carry this really is perfect for a daily bag. My sister has admired it every time I see her so I purchased the blue one for her. The bag is so soft and just continues to get softer with use.
